UETTDRRF06B – Perform Rescue From A Live LV Panel & CPR – Sunshine Coast
Sunshine Coast First Aid is a certified and nationally accredited first aid training course provider who offer dedicated courses tailored to industry requirements. Low Voltage Rescue and CPR course (UETTDRRF06B) is tailored to meet the requirements of electricians, electrical contractors and low voltage maintenance teams and is delivered in line with ARC (Australian Council for Resuscitation).
The course includes how to use a low voltage rescue kit, CPR and AED (defibrillation) to rescue and resuscitate casualties of an electric shock. The course covers 2 key modules:
HLTAID001 – Provide CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED
UETTDRRF06B – Perform Rescue From A Live LV Panel
The 2014 electrical code of practice recommends that candidates should undertake a refresher training course every 12 months for both the LVR and CPR units.
This course classifies low voltage as not more than 1000 volts AC or ISOOV DC.
Perform Rescue From A Live LV Panel and CPR Course Duration
Perform Rescue From A Live LV Panel and CPR is a 4-hour face to face practical course. All participants will need to perform a 2-minute CPR demonstration on a floor based manakin.
No Online Workbook or E-learning Required
To keep stress to a minimum there is no pre-course testing required. Attendees will, however, be obliged to complete some pre-course reading and answer a short quiz. The quiz can be completed whilst undertaking the reading and must be submitted on the day of the training. The study time required to complete the quiz will vary based on an individual’s prior knowledge and learning.
First Aid Certificate
Sunshine Coast First Aid will issue your digital certification via email on the same day as your training subject to the following conditions:
Students must provide their USI (unique student identifier) number (see USI requirements section below) at least 24 hours prior to starting the course.
All students need to bring their completed pre-course reading quiz on the day of the training.
Paper copies of certificates are available upon request at $12.00 each and will be posted out to students.
USI Requirements
From 1st January 2015, all students undertaking any nationally accredited training course are required to have a USI (unique student identifier) number.
A USI number is unique to the individual and is used to keep a secure digital record of all your training and qualifications. You can apply for a USI at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-usi.
Applying for a USI number is quick, easy and free and applications often take less than 5 minutes.
